The LA Lakers wins against the Hornets in game 6

The defending champs Los Angeles Lakers are one game away to finish the series against the New Orleans Hornets in the first round of playoffs. Kobe Bryant and the rest of the Lakers are really desperate to win this game to have a good rest. The Lakers visits the New Orleans in game 6 on April 28, 2011. If the Lakers would win in this series, they will advance and battle against the Dallas Mavericks in the second round of playoffs but the New Orleans is not giving up as they had their home crowd at their back in this game.
                At the first quarter, Kobe Bryant shots great even with the tight defense of the New Orleans Hornets but it happened to be that the Lakers is very good in the quarter. It had been an extreme defense all night long as the two teams had finished the first half below 40 points. At the third quarter, The Lakers pulled out to a 12 point deficit in the end of the quarter care of Kobe Bryant and the good rebounding of the Lakers. At the fourth and final quarter, the Lakers is too much for the New Orleans where they never bounce back to the game as the Lakers won by 18, 98-80. Kobe Bryant dishes 24 points together with Pau Gasol and Andrew Binum who scores a total of 34 points. The Lakers will now advance in the second round of playoffs and will be having a one shot closer to their 3rd consecutive time NBA championship win.
